Funding Your Hastings Summer Study

Funding your Hastings summer study (Hastings students):

1. Register for the classes with the Records office.
2. Submit to the Financial Aid office an Action Request Form requesting financial aid to pay for the summer classes. The cost of attending the summer term will be added to your 2012-13 aid package and you will be sent a revised award letter.
3. Review, accept, sign and submit your revised award letter reflecting the summer term.
4. If you were required to have an endorser for your current Grad-PLUS loan, you will need to apply for a new Grad-PLUS loan by having the endorser complete his/her endorsing part and you will have to fill out another Master Promissory Note.

Important: Please note that you must attend at least half-time (3 units in summer) to receive a federal student loan.

Deadlines: Hastings students need to apply for Financial Aid at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of classes.

Living Budget: The living budget will be pro-rated based on the length of the class session.
