Your username and password for almost all UC Hastings systems, including Canvas, WebAdvisor and KScope, is the username and password that you created when first registering for Law School. If you forget your password, please email the IT Help Desk. Go to the Change Your Password page to change your password.

SecureHastings is the College's wireless network and extends to most student study areas. Follow these instructions for connecting to SecureHastings.
Hastingsplay is for personal wireless devices (Xbox, Apple Tv, etc.) that cannot connect to the SecureHastings wireless network. To access and register for the hastingsplay wireless network, log into KScope, click on "View Services" and then click on the link entitled "Wireless Devices Register" to attach an Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, Game Console or Smart TV to our Internet Connection.
HastingsGuest is provided for all visitors of the UC Hastings College of the Law campus for wireless Internet.
|Email: You can check your email and calendar online through the Outlook Web App (OWA). Your username is your UC Hastings email address, your password is your email password. Consult our Office 365 page to configure your iPhone, Android, or other device to receive email.|
|Software: Current students can install Office 2013, Office 2016, mobile Office enterprise apps for free directly from Office 365. Also, for a nominal fee, can download Windows 10 Education, Office 2013, Office 2016, and low-cost versions of Parallels and other software. More information regarding software downloads are available on our software page.|
|Printing: Students will find Xerox multi-function printers (MFPs) throughout the Library, in the Gold Reading Room, in the 198 McAllister basement and in the McAllister Tower lobby. Use your Hastings Email Username and Password to send print jobs to the MFPs and to add money to your printing account. Please see our printing page for more detailed instructions on how to use Everyone Print.|
|Canvas contains class syllabi, course materials, class rosters, class discussion boards, and classroom email lists.|
|WebAdvisor allows you to register for classes, check your grades, find textbooks required for your courses, and view your exam number.|
|SeatGEN is a web-based photo seating chart system where you may assign yourself a seat.|
|ExamSoft is the exam software used by the College. It is the same software that is used by the California Bar for the Bar Exams. Some professors also use TWEN for take-home exams.|
|Turning Point is a classroom polling tool used by some professors at UC Hastings.|
|The Events Calendar will help you to find current and upcoming events and activities on campus.|
|All UC Hastings Faculty, Staff, and Students can use the Astra Schedule for reserving a classroom, meeting space, or event space on campus.|
The Career Office provides students and alumni with counseling, programs, and career resources.
|KScope is where you can find PACE evaluations, on-campus student jobs, and SharkMart ads.|
|Atomic Learning contains online how-to tutorials, workshops, and career skills courses to help achieve academic and career success.|
The UC Hastings Law Library provides reference services for current students at the Reference Desk, by telephone (415-565-4751), and through email. In-depth research questions are best served in person at the Reference Desk or by making an individual appointment.
|Online Catalog: can be used to find books, scholarly law journals, course reserves, and other materials in the Library's collection. The Library also offers access to numerous online databases.|
