Panopto is the lecture capture solution that is currently being implemented in the classrooms at UC Hastings by Media Services. Panopto provides a college hosted media server for videos related to teaching and learning. UC Hastings' Panopto media server services also provides an easy to use presentation personal capturing software that allows users to record, edit, and share recordings.
Please keep in mind that the classroom audio lecture capture system is not set up to openly share audio recordings unless the professor requests this of Media Services. These recordings remain private. The classroom audio capture portion of the system is completely different from the process outlined below that will allow faculty to record video lectures from their computer, publish them to the media server and then share the videos to students within their course.
