What accreditations does UC Hastings have?

UC Hastings is an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). For contact information, please view Accreditation.

What is WASC?

WASC stands for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It is one of six regional accrediting agencies recognized by the US Department of Education that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities. WASC accredits institutions in California, Hawaii, Guam, and the Pacific Basin.

Are other law schools accredited through WASC?

All of the UC campuses are accredited by WASC, as are private schools such as Stanford and USC.
