Civil Justice Clinic Turns 15

On May 20, 2008, Civil Justice Clinic staff and alumni celebrated 15 years of teaching Hastings students how to become ethical, skilled attorneys while at the same time serving our low-income Bay Area community.

Director since its inception, Professor Mark N. Aaronson, passed the baton to CJC’s new Director, Professor Miye Goishi, who's been part of CJC’s teaching staff since the beginning. We all thanked Mark for his invaluable contribution in heading up the Clinic since its birth.  Mark will now focus on his teaching (Community Economic Development Clinic; Problem Solving and Professional Judgment) and scholarship.

amantoAfter practicing law in Oregon, Amanto Marcotulli (CJC F01) has returned to California, and is an attorney at UC-Berkeley's University Relations department.
