Since 1980, Richard T. Sakai has been preparing students for bar examinations. For over 25 years, he has lectured for BarBri with particular emphasis on essay writing for all subjects. Richard is currently an Assistant Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Academic Support Program at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he has been teaching since 1987. He has taught Legal Research, Writing & Analysis, Legal Analysis, Torts, Wills & Trusts, Criminal Law, Evidence and Evidence Advocacy.

Daniel Schweitzer graduated from UC Hastings and passed the California Bar in 2004. Since then, he has focused his career on legal education and California Bar Exam preparation. He has been running his own private tutoring business for 8 years and has worked on numerous California Bar workshops and projects for UC Hastings Academic Support Program.

Presented by Dennis Higa
Adjunct Professor Dennis Higa is a licensed attorney in California and Hawaii. For over two decades, Dennis has helped students pass the California Bar Exam. He co-founded and actively leads LawTutorial.com, a company which provides individualized tutoring for law students and California Bar applicants. Dennis serves as an educational consultant for Stanford Law School, providing support for their students. He also teaches a bar course at Golden Gate University and bar workshops at UC Davis.

Presented by Chris Ide-Don
Christopher Ide-Don is the Director of the Academic Success Program at the UC Davis School of Law. Chris directs the first year tutor program as well as the upper division bar programs. He also teaches two bar skills courses for credit. Prior to UC Davis, Chris worked with UC Hastings, his alma mater, and practiced special education law.

After each session, you can practice writing actual exam questions. Later, you can meet individually with an expert bar tutor who will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses! Attendance is required for individual meetings and exam review.
