LEOP students comprised approximately 12% of the incoming Class of 2019. Although LSAT scores are a factor in determining LEOP admission, non-traditional indicators such as work experience, academic and professional achievement, letters of recommendation, and grade point average (GPA) are also heavily weighed.
For LEOP students, significant obstacles have restricted access to academic and/or professional opportunities, support, and resources. Individualized LEOP resources, programs, and services provide LEOP students with the tools needed for academic and professional success in the legal profession. LEOP students are integrated in the general student population. In addition to meeting the same rigorous academic requirements, entering LEOP students must attend the LEOP Orientation and must participate in first-year LEOP practice exams and tutorials.
