Program Description

"Fiat Justitia" - Do Justice!  UC Hastings motto for decades provides the overarching theme for an exciting hands-on CLE training Seminar, over two beautiful summer days in San Francisco!

The Seminar has been carefully designed to provide up to-the-minute information on current state and federal ethics authorities as they apply to Criminal Litigation.  Presented by experienced criminal prosecutors and defense attorneys, each panel will be accompanied by opportunities for "small group" sessions in which attendees will be asked to examine realistic problems and come up with acceptable ethical, as well as strategic, answers.

Created with public prosecutors and public defenders particularly in mind, this Criminal Litigation Ethics seminar will also provide written materials that you can take back to your offices and re-present to colleagues.

The UC Hastings Institute for Criminal Justice founded in 2013.  We seek to "Do Justice" and bring the values of legal education to the entire community.
