Adjunct Assistant Professor Michael P. Carbone is a dispute resolution specialist who mediates, arbitrates and serves as a court-appointed referee. He resolves commercial, employment, construction, real estate, personal injury, estate and trust, insurance coverage, legal malpractice, and corporate and partnership disputes. As a lawyer for more than 45 years he handled a wide variety of transactional and litigation matters. He is a frequent author and lecturer on dispute resolution and eDiscovery issues. In 2013 he co-organized with Allison J. Walton an eDiscovery symposium for the Center for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution at Hastings College of the Law. He also founded the Bay Area eDiscovery Forum and serves as its chair.
