Michael Gaitley is a Senior Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center (“LAS-ELC”). He supervises the LAS-ELC’s Workers’ Rights Clinic held at various locations throughout California. His principal role at the Clinic is to train and mentor law students who provide basic information and referrals to approximately 2000 low-income workers annually. His LAS-ELC practice focuses exclusively on labor and employment law, with an emphasis on issues affecting low-income employees, such as unpaid wages and employment discrimination.
Mr. Gaitley is a 1984 graduate of Pace Law School. He received his undergraduate degree in 1979 from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the New York and California bars.
