Eugene Litvinoff, Adjunct Professor

Adjunct Professor Eugene Litvinoff is currently Senior Counsel – Litigation at Chevron Corp. Professor Litvinoff received his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley and his Juris Doctor degree from UC Hastings College of the Law. Following law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Melvin Brunetti, followed by a second clerkship with U.S. District Court Judge D. Lowell Jensen in the Northern District of California. He then joined the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division through the Attorney General's Honors Program. During the three years that Professor Litvinoff spent at the Antitrust Division, he focused on investigating and criminally prosecuting international price fixing cartels. Upon leaving the Antitrust Division, Professor Litvinoff then spent three years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of California, followed by several years as a Partner at the law firm McDermott Will & Emery LLP. Professor Litvinoff has previously taught first-year Legal Writing and Research and Moot Court at UC Hastings.
