Mari Overbeck is a litigator at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. Her practice primarily focuses on employment litigation. Prior to joining Munger, Mari clerked at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California during the 2008-2009 and 2011-2012 terms. Mari previously worked as a litigator in the San Francisco office of Winston & Strawn LLP, where she focused on labor and employment litigation before returning to Judge Zimmerman's chambers. While in law school, Mari competed on the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team where she helped win two regional championships. Her team also broke Hastings' previous historical records by placing 5th (out of a total of 500 teams) at the World Championship rounds, making Hastings the U.S. Champions in 2009. Mari works extensively with Hastings' Jessup team as an alumni coach.
Mari received a BA in International Politics & Economics from Middlebury College, and a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
