Eric Quandt, Adjunct Professor

Adjunct Professor Eric Quandt graduated from UC San Diego with honors in political science and then earned his law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law in 1999. Since graduating from law school, Professor Quandt has dedicated his entire practice to criminal defense. He initially worked in the Contra Costa County Public Defender's office and then went into private practice with Gagen, McCoy, McMahon & Armstrong. In private practice, Professor Quandt practiced criminal defense in both state and federal court and co-chaired a death penalty trial in Contra Costa County. In 2006, he moved to the San Francisco Public Defender's office where he currently works on the felony trial team, representing indigent defendants charged with crimes ranging from simple drug possession to homicide. He returns to his alma mater to help train the next generation of trial attorneys in the Fall of 2010.
