Adjunct Professor Glen R. Van Ligten is a partner in the Corporate and Securities practice group of Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. Professor Van Ligten advises companies at all stages of the corporate life cycle, from pre-incorporation planning to angel, seed and venture capital financings to mergers and acquisitions and public offerings. He focuses on the formation and financing of emerging growth technology companies and the representation of venture capital firms in their investments.Professor Van Ligten received his law degree, cum laude, from UC Hastings College of the Law, where he is a member of the Thurston Honor Society, and a B.S. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, running, playing golf and attending his children’s sporting events.
