If you are a foreign attorney or hold a degree that qualifies you to practice law from a school outside the United States, the University of California Hastings invites you to apply for a one-year LL.M. degree in U.S. Legal Studies.
UC Hastings offers a dynamic and engaging intellectual community committed to the pursuit of justice and the highest professional standards. Our LL.M. graduates hold a wide variety of positions in law, business, and education both in the United States and around the world. As an LL.M. candidate at UC Hastings you can pursue a general degree in U.S. Law or a specialization in Dispute Resolution and Legal Process, International Law and Human Rights, Taxation, Science, Technology and Intellectual Property, International Business and Trade, or Family Law. UC Hastings also offers a unique transfer program that allows qualified LL.M. candidates to apply to the J.D. program.
