Inter-Journal Writing Competition
All first-year students with a minimum GPA of 2.2 and who have successfully completed LW&R and Moot Court or Legal Analysis, are eligible to participate on the Hastings journals. First-year students who wish to participate on a journal during their second year are required to enter the Inter-Journal Writing Competition, which begins on Friday, May 11, 2012, and ends on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 5 p.m.
All 2Ls who wish to participate on a journal at Hastings, must enter the Inter-Journal Writing Competition. There are no other, alternatvie options for joining a journal.

Do not contact the journals directly during the competition. Any entrant who does will be disqualified. Do not consult any person student or not or any resource other than your Bluebook regarding any aspect of the competition; do not look up any materials on lexis or westlaew of any other to do so is to risk disqualification. The competition is strictly anonymous. Any student participating in the writing competition who reveals his or her identity in any way to any of the journals or any other student will be disqualified.
