Summer Research Assistant Opportunities
PAID SUMMER RESEARCH ASSISTANT JOBS
The LW&R/Moot Court Dept. seeks Research Assistants for paid Summer 2009 employment on campus. Full and half-time positions are available. Work includes researching, writing, and editing course handbooks, memo assignments, teaching materials and forms.
We provide a relaxed, productive and friendly work environment that encourages teamwork and cooperation. Hours are relatively flexible and vacation time is assured. Dress is casual and the work atmosphere is supportive and interactive.
Former RAs rave about their experience and the resume value and practical skills they acquired. One student tells us that the firms he interviewed with in the fall were “very impressed with the importance of the work and the breadth of topics I covered in a summer of research and writing. I was able to secure employment for my 2L summer through OCI, and I know that my summer experience with LW&R/MC weighed heavily in my favor.” Another former RA states that “being able to create memos in the field I am entering was very attractive to employers.” A third adds, “The fact that they paid me was just the icing on the cake.”
