For Approved Exchange Students

Once you have been selected by your home university to attend UC Hastings as an exchange student, you will need to complete the following forms and return them (with appropriate documentation) to Global Programs at global@uchastings.edu or by fax to (415) 581-8812.

• Exchange Student Application Form
• Living Costs
• Certificate of Financial Resources
• Dependent Form (if you are bringing your spouse and/or your children)
• A 2–3 page personal statement introducing yourself and telling us why you want to attend UC Hastings and what you hope to gain from your semester here. (If you already submitted a personal statement to your home university as part of your application process, you can use it to fulfill this requirement, provided it is in English.)
• A current résumé

Once we have received these forms from you, we will contact you with further information about the student visa and course registration.
