|Enrollment Deposit||July 18, 2014||A $300 Enrollment Deposit is required to reserve your place in the 2L class. Submit your deposit electronically at https://cio2.uchastings.edu/admit/index.py The Enrollment Deposit is non-refundable. You will need to create an account in WebAdvisor, the UC Hastings internal student information system, and then you will be prompted to pay the deposit.|
|CA Residency Application||August 28, 2014||All students who want to claim CA residency for in-state tuition must submit the Residency Application. The Residency Application will be available beginning June 9, 2014. Click here to access the application and instructions.|
|Class Registration||Jul - Aug 2014||Class registration takes place through WebAdvisor, using the username and password you created when you paid the enrollment deposit. There is a two-day lag time from when you pay the enrollment deposit before you will be able to use WebAdvisor for class registration. You will be able to sign up for any open class during the summer, but you will not be able to sign up for closed classes. Some closed classes do have spots reserved for transfer and visiting students and you will be able to sign up for those classes during Orientation. Additional information about registration will emailed in late July or early August.|
|Transcripts||August 1, 2014||Arrange to have original, paper undergraduate and law school transcripts sent to the Admissions Office, UC Hastings College of the Law, 200 McAllister Street, San Francisco, CA 94102. Normally law school transcripts are received as part of the transfer application and there is no need to request another one. However the undergraduate transcript is required and it must display the words "Degree Granted" or "Degree Conferred" to be considered official.|
|Student Health Service Forms||August 1, 2014||UC Hastings requires two forms from all new students, the Personal Health History and the Immunization Recommendations form. Click here for instructions and links to these two forms.|
|Law Journals||Early August||All incoming transfer students will have the opportunity to compete for a spot on one of Hastings' nine journal staffs via the Transfer Student Inter-Journal Writing Competition. Further information will be emailed to students around August 1.|
|Early Interview Program||August 4 - 13, 2014||The formal application window for interviews runs from June 30 to July 10. Please refer to the letter from the Office of Career and Professional Development, which you also received in your admission packet.|
|Tuition Payments||August 18, 2014||Students are billed through WebAdvisor, the College's online student information and services system. Invoices will be available on WebAdvisor in late July.|
|Student Health Insurance||September 3, 2014||All students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the UC-system wide student health insurance plan, known as UC SHIP. If you have comparable coverage already and wish to opt out of UC SHIP, the online waiver form must be submitted by September 3. Note that the waiver form will be available beginning July 15, 2014.|
|Financial Aid Supplement||ASAP||As all scholarships at UC Hastings require the awardee to have financial need, the UC Hastings Financial Aid Supplement must be completed to be considered for financial aid.|
