{ student life } > THE CAmpUS ExpErIEnCE UC Hastings students enjoy countless extracurricular activities. They can join campus groups that address a wide range of political, cultural, and ethnic issues; they may also attend frequent on-campus lectures. For stress relief, students often work out in UC Hastings’ well-appointed fitness center and gym, or socialize with classmates and faculty at parties, theatrical events, and talent shows. Housing options mcAllister Tower, UC Hastings’ residential center, houses more than 300 students with efficiency, studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. The Tower is conveniently located on the same block as UC Hastings’ classrooms. Students may live at the Tower for all three years of enrollment. Students also may apply for housing at UCSF’s mission Bay campus, located about two miles from UC Hastings. UC Hastings also offers assistance to students who prefer to live off campus, providing information about neighborhoods and transportation, and an online hous- ing board where new and returning students can search for roommates and housing opportunities. Visitors and students may use the UC Hastings parking Garage, a modern, seven-story facility located at 376 Larkin Street, just around the corner from UC Hastings’ main buildings. www.uchastings.edu / UC HASTINGS 23
