ALL THAT jAzz packed with jazz clubs, Fillmore Street pulsates with fascinating rhythms. And twice a year, the San Francisco jazz Festival brings to town a superb lineup of jazz masters. 3. CUTTInG-EDGE CInEmA The Bay Area has frequent film festivals to suit every taste and genre, with the granddaddy of them all being the prestigious San Francisco International Film Festival. 4. SonIC BoomS Students can catch roof-raising shows at venues such as the Warfield, the Independent, or the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, which is directly across the Civic Center plaza from UC Hastings. 5.
