ResouRces The UC Hastings office of Career and Professional Development is staffed by attorney-counselors who come from a variety of legal backgrounds includ- ing private practice, the judiciary, government, and the nonprofit sector. UC Hastings students can take advantage of a host of career development oppor- tunities such as workshops, one-on-one counseling, self-assessment tools, and alumni mentoring. Workshops sponsored by the Career office cover a wide range of professional topics including effective interviewing, résumé and cover letter preparation, networking, salary negotiation, and professional etiquette.
