The program operates in more than a dozen coun- tries, so students may be matched with both local and geographically distant mentors who can provide invaluable networking resources. The program was designed to help students bridge the gap between the academic environment and the outside professional world. Students who already have plans to specialize in a certain practice area often use the program to meet practitioners in that field. others consult with mentors for general advice on the job search process and to develop professional con- tacts.
