Hastings: The Greater Good The fall alumni magazine focuses on alumni promoting the greater good on the bench, in political service, government and non-governmental agencies, both nationally and internationally. It is now available online, in a high-tech, "flippable" version.

The Washington State Bar Association honored Ronald Ward '76 with the 2008 Award of Merit for his outstanding achievement and long-term service to the Bar and the public.

The Brooklyn Law Review reprinted "Scientific Realism in Constitutional Law," by David Faigman.
"The Restructuring of Legal Education along Functional Lines," by William K.S. Wang, proposes the unbundling of what Wang identifies as the five distinct services offered by law schools and was published in The Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues.
The Journal of Law in Society published, "Discourse of Disobedience: Law, Political Philosophy, and Trials of Conscientious Objectors" by Hadar Aviram as the issue's lead article.
