GET YOUR TEXTBOOKS FOR FREE*

PRE-ORDERING WILL BEGIN WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7th AND CLOSE MONDAY, JANUARY 2nd. 

You may view required course materials starting December 12th, at which time you will also be able to submit pre-orders.   (You can also access the course materials manually via the following flow: bkstr.com > US Colleges > UC Hastings College of the Law > Submit > Books > Textbooks and Course Materials.  At this point you must enter your course information by entering the course numbers only.)  If you receive a message that "no information has been received for this course" or the like, it means either that we have not yet received textbook information from faculty, or that there are no required books for the course.  Our list is updated daily.

*We are running several promotions applicable to items pre-ordered online only.  We will select TWENTY THREE orders at random and award the following prizes:

15 - $50 off of your total purchase of books.

5 - $100 off your total purchase of books.

2 - $200 off of your total purchase of books

1 - YOUR ENTIRE TEXTBOOK ORDER IS FREE. 

There is NO LIMIT to how much your order costs to be eligible for FREE TEXTBOOKS.  There are multiple $1,000+ transactions made every semester and such a transaction would qualify for the grand prize if selected.  All dollar amounts awared "off of your total purchase of books" applies to ONE TRANSACTION ONLY.  This applies to the grand prize of free textbooks as well: the full amount of ONE TRANSACTION will be refunded. 

Awards will be given after the add/drop deadline has passed.  For example: if you are notified that you've won $100 off of your total purchase of books, you may come to the bookstore after add/drop has ended, and we will credit you with $100 in in the same tender you paid for the qualifying transaction with. 

Based on previous semesters ordering data, your chances of wining one of the above prizes are ONE IN NINE. 

Pickup Your Books from the Bookstore:

Beginning Thursday, January 5th. 

Returns

Books purchased through the preordering process may be returned during the Bookstore's hours (9:00am to 6:00pm) beginning Monday, January 9th.
