The Career Office provides students and alumni with counseling, programs, and career resources. Our office focuses on two goals: career development for students and alumni, and outreach to legal employers.
Our staff serves every student, whether they wish to pursue a path in public interest, private sector, government, other law-related work or even careers outside the law. We offer a range of programs including panels, mock interviews, brown bag lunch programs, workshops, and career fairs. UC Hastings also hosts a number of recruiting programs, including Fall and Spring On-Campus Interviews, the Annual Public Interest/Public Sector (PI/PS) Day, the Intellectual Property Career Fair and a Small Firm Table Talk. We have a well-stocked career library as well as office computers dedicated to student use. This assistance helps UC Hastings students enter jobs in almost every legal arena and even outside the legal profession.
