The Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation is a student-run nonprofit organization that supports Hastings students in their pursuit of public interest careers. Since its inception in 1979, HPILF has conferred summer grants to eligible students working in the public interest and government sectors. Grantees strive to achieve social justice for a diverse clientele through direct services, impact litigation, and public policy work.

HPILF's annual gala auction is an entertaining event where students, alumni, professors, and faculty gather together to celebrate and support HPILF and its summer grantees. Join HPILF members for an evening of silent and live auctions, food, drinks and friends.
