California Civil Procedure

Welcome to the class Web site for California Civil Procedure for Spring 2011. Your enrollment in this class shows that you understand the critical role that procedure plays in civil matters in California's trial and appellate courts. If you go on to practice litigation after law school, you will be glad that you took this course when you see how the concepts and skills you gained play themselves out in your work.

On this Web site, I will post class materials such as the syllabus, written assignments, and additional assigned reading materials.

Please feel free to contact me directly at shapellr@uchastings.edu with any questions you might have during the semester. I will also have office hours in Room 3021 (198 McAllister) on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30, and by appointment.
