Kenneth Kann
Kenneth Kann is the Director of the Executive Office Programs division of the California Administrative Office of the Courts. His responsibilities include administration of policymaking and meetings for the Judicial Council of California, judicial branch strategic planning, administration of California state advisory committees of presiding judges and court executive officers, and AOC programs for court research, jury improvement, court interpreters, and judicial branch communications and media relations.
Mr. Kann holds a J.D. from Hastings in 1986. He practiced employment law and civil litigation between 1986 and 2000. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Kann taught at the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a Ph.D degree in modern U.S. history from UC Berkeley and has published two books: Comrades and Chicken Ranchers: The Story of a California Jewish Community (Cornell University Press, 1993) and Joe Rappoport: The Life of a Jewish Radical (Temple University Press, 1981).
