Sadhana D. Narayan

Adjunct Professor Sadhana D. Narayan is the owner of The Narayan Law Firm. She is the lead counsel on the Firm's Federal, Civil Rights and Employment practice areas.

Professor Narayan is a 1987 graduate of The University of San Francisco School of Law.  She received her BA in Economics from The University of California at Berkeley, in 1983.

Professor Narayan has handled dozens of civil matters through jury trial in State and Federal Courts.  She appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California State Court of Appeal. Professor Narayan has maintained a National Reputation as a leader in the Employment and Civil Rights fields.  She has appeared as an expert in these fields on Court TV on several occasions on cases involving high profile nationally known matters.  She was listed in 2009 and 2010 in SuperLawyers Magazine as one of the top 5% of lawyers in Northern California in her field.

Professor Narayan has participated in over 500 Settlement Conferences/Mediations.  She has served as a Settlement Judge Pro Tem in San Francisco Superior Court and Santa Clara Superior Court.  She has also served as an Early Neutral Evaluator for the Federal Court, Northern District.  Professor Narayan currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center.
