Joel Paul, Professor of Law, Associate Dean for International and Graduate Programs
Joel Paul is the Associate Dean of International and Graduate Programs responsible for the law school's foreign exchange programs, LL.M. program, summer program, and foreign visiting scholars program. He has taught at American University, University of Leiden, Yale University, and University of Connecticut. Paul has advised the Clinton presidential campaign on trade policy, challenged the military's exclusion of gay service members in the Supreme Court, testified before Congress, and lectured or published in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. His most recent book is Unlikely Allies: How a Merchant, a Playwright and a Spy Saved the American Revolution.
