Adjunct Professor John Leary is a corporate lawyer who currently represents early stage companies in their financing, licensing and formation work.
Professor Leary previously worked for White & Case LLP for 22 years, in their offices located in Shanghai (where he was the managing partner), Palo Alto, Mexico City, Prague, Bangkok, Hanoi and Los Angeles.
His primary areas of practice were mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equipment finance (primarily aircraft leasing), bank financing and film finance.
Before becoming a lawyer, Professor Leary worked for an environmental construction company, negotiating redevelopment contracts with the City of New York.
