Clifford T. Lee received his J.D. from King Hall School of Law, University of California, Davis, in 1976 and is a member of the California State Bar. From 1977 through 1979 he was a staff attorney with the Governor's Commission to Review California Water Rights Law. Since December, 1979, he has been a deputy attorney general with the Natural Resources Law Section of the California Department of Justice. He has represented the State Water Resources Control Board, the Department of Water Resources, the Air Resources Board, the Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and other state agencies in litigation in state and federal courts. Since 1995, he been a member of the adjunct faculty of UC Hastings College of the Law. In 2007, he was a recipient of te California Lawyer Magazine attorney of the year award in the field of environmental law.
