Summer Session 2012

Hastings students can enroll in a maximum of eight (8) units during the summer. Additional units which have been approved (for Judicial Externship experience only) will be shown on the student's transcript in the fall semester. Students may earn credits during the summer by participating in any of the following programs.

1. The Summer Judicial Externship Program (credit is available only to students who have completed 3 semesters of law school) - This program is administered by Nancy Stuart, Director of Externships and Pro Bono Programs, 100 McAllister, Rm. 350.
2. Independent Study - Forms for enrollment are available through the Records department.
3. Studying away at another law school - Forms for enrollment are available through the Records department.
4. Summer Legal Institute

To qualify for full-time enrollment during the summer students must be registered in at least 6 units;to qualify for half-time enrollments students must be registered for a minimum of 3 units.
