Stressbusters free massage is coming back! Student Health Services is pleased to offer more free head, neck, and shoulder massages than ever before during finals. Take advantage of this offer of pure relaxation during final exams. Enjoy a brief break from studying and school! Massages are available by appointment for five days during the Final Exam period.
Stressbusters will take place in the Dobbs Atrium from 11AM until 2PM on the following dates:
- April 26
- April 30
- May 3
- May 4
- May 9
Please come to Student Health Services (Room 202, 200 McAllister Street) to sign up for a time that works for you. Sign-up sheets are available now! Due to time constraints, SHS is unable to schedule appointments for Stressbusters massage by phone or email.
SHS hours during finals are: 8:30 to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30 to 1 pm on Friday. As of May 14th, SHS will be open administratively only. The medical and counseling staff returns on August 20, 2012.
The last day to see a physician or counselor at Student Health Services is Friday, May 11th. Please be certain you have enough refills of your ongoing medications so that you may continue your prescriptions until you see a new practitioner over the summer break. There will be no one in Student Health to write prescriptions after May 11, 2012. There are a limited number of appointments available for physical exams and/or annual well woman exams during finals, so please plan ahead.
If you are planning to do lab work that was previously ordered by a physician, the last day you can do so at SHS at SHS is Tuesday, May 8th.
