March 1, 2010 - HICLR invites members of the public and the Hastings community to participate in this year's symposium: Health as a Human Right: The Global Option. The symposium will take place on March 18-19 and will be held in the Alumni Reception Center of Mary Kay Kane Hall. This year's Schlesinger lecture will be delivered as the Keynote address at the symposium. Please see our Schlesinger Lecture page for for information on the symposium.

March 16, 2009 - Executive Editor Wins Award:

Alicia Miller, Executive Editor of HICLR, received the Roger J. Traynor student writing competition for her note The Preliminary Reference Procedure of the Court of Justice of the European Communities:  A Model for the ICJ?.  The best student note (nominated by the Editors in Chief of the various Hastings law reviews to a pool) was selected by a faculty committee appointed by Dean Marshall.  The winnder received a monetary award of $500.
