Amenities
Cable Television - All apartments are wired to accept cable television. Students are responsible for paying and contracting with the cable television company directly.
Fitness Center - A fitness center featuring weight training equipment, cardiovascular machines, and free weights is located in the Tower's mezzanine level.
Internet - Full internet access is provided by Hastings' wireless network.
Laundry Facilities - A commercial Laundromat is located in the lobby level of the building. Laundry Locker is also on site to provide dry cleaning and wash & fold services. The apartments are not equipped for individual washers and dryers.
Gymnasium - A gymnasium with a full basketball court is located in the lower level of the Tower and is available for use by all students during designated hours. Basketball, volleyball, and other intramural sports are programmed throughout the year along with classes, like yoga. The gymnasium also includes a bathroom with showers and lockers. Students interested in renting a locker year round in the gymnasium can contact Housing Services. Locker rental cost is $25.00 per year.
Sky Room - An art deco style lounge with a panoramic view of the city is located on the 24th floor of McAllister Tower. The room is open Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for quiet time (relaxing, reading, studying), unless there is a special event. The Sky Room is used for special events during the evening and is not open for students' use.
Clara S. Foltz Lounge - This is a casual lounge, equipped with a pool table, table tennis, big-screen television and seating areas. The room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for students use unless there is a special event booked in the lounge.
O'Brien Center for Scholarly Publications - Offices for the College's nine law reviews are located on the 22nd and 23rd floors of McAllister Tower.
Telephone - As part of the Tower's security and life safety system, each apartment is required to have a telephone jack. Students do not need to have a land line, but they are required to contract with a telephone or mobile telephone company to get a telephone number. Land lines and cellular phones are both acceptable.
