Toni is responsible for the academic quality of the program.  She designs the curriculum, supervises the development of the assignments, and selects, trains and supervises the teachers and teaching assistants.  She oversees LW&R and is available by appointment for questions, complaints, or compliments.

Gary is Director of the Hastings Appellate Project, a program where Hastings students handle Ninth Circuit appeals, providing legal representation to low-income plaintiffs in their immigration and civil rights cases. Gary also teaches moot court and appellate advocacy and serves as faculty coach for two intercollegiate moot court competition teams at Hastings. In addition, Gary is a partner at Archer Norris handling writs and appeals in all California appellate courts, including the Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Stephen assists Toni in handling academic, administrative, teaching, and employee and student matters.  He is available to help with all aspects of writing and acts as the school writing specialist.  Stephen also teaches the LL.M. LW&R students and Moot Court, and he is our in-house judge and counselor-at-law.
