How To Browse For A Database


Navigate to the law school tab after signing in.  If you see the database you’re looking for on the main page, click it.

Otherwise, scroll down to the “search for a database” menu on the left-hand side and click the “View Westlaw Directory” link.

If you’re looking for federal cases or statutes, click the “U.S. Federal Materials” link. 

If you’re looking for state cases or statutes, click the “U.S. State Materials” link.

If you’re looking for secondary sources such as ALR or AmJur/CalJur, click the “Treatises, CLEs and Other Practice Materials” link.

Click the category you are looking for from the drop-down menu.  It will provide you a list of options, from which you can choose the database you are looking for.
