How To Get Started

Go to lawschool.westlaw.com; type your ID and password.

If you have a citation or topic to research, you may use the Legal Research Center. If you don’t know where to start, click “Westlaw Research” on the top menu bar.

“Westlaw research” will open a new window.  It will take you to the “Law school” tab, which gives you both federal and state search options.

 

 If you are researching only state issues, click the“California” tab.
