Korematsu Film: "Of Civil Rights and Wrongs"

The Japanese Law Society will screen this 1-hour, Emmy Award winning documentary. The film portrays the little-known history of the 40-year legal fight to vindicate Fred Korematsu — one that finally turned a civil injustice into a civil rights victory. The film will be followed by a 1-hour panel featuring a members of the legal team representing Fred Korematsu, Don Tamaki, Robert Rusky and Karen Kai as well as a very special guest - the daughter of Fred Korematsu, Karen Korematsu. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to learn more about what is considered among the most controversial US Supreme Court decisions of all time from actual historical figures that were involved in Mr. Korematsu's life and legal battle.
