Renowned attorney Roger Wilkins visits Hastings for the Legally Speaking series. At the age of 33, Wilkins became the highest-ranking African American in President Lyndon Johnson’s Justice Department. After he left the government, Wilkins served on the editorial boards of both the Washington Post (where he won a Pulitzer Prize) and the New York Times. He also wrote two highly acclaimed books, made two documentaries, and for more than two decades taught history and American culture at George Mason University.

A wine and cheese reception takes place at 6 p.m. and the event begins at 6:30 p.m. One hour of MCLE is available for the event. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here.
