LA Ethics Panel - "Conflicts, Screenings and Waivers: Are You Really Protected?"

Join us for a special presentation entitled Conflicts, Screening and Waivers: Are You Really Protected?
Leading malpractice attorneys Rob Sall '78, Edith Matthai '75, and Joel Mark '72 will address ethics problems and professional liability traps, including the required elements for conflict disclosures, the potential use of ethical screens for migrating lawyers, and the rising use of advance waivers of conflicts of interest.
The panel focuses on what it takes to get truly informed client consent and the predictable consequences of failing to give proper attention to conflicts, which are some of the issues that arise in today’s complex legal practice.
One hour of MCLE ethics credit is offered at no charge. The reception is at 6 p.m. and the MCLE presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.
