Hastings Women's Law Journal announces its fall panel, "Women on the Bench: A Conversation with Female Judges."  Moderated by Professor Radhika Rao, the discussion explores the question of why female judges matter; including reflection on the Sonia Sotomayor confirmation hearings, and her historic appointment. 

The Panel features California Supreme Court Justice Carol Corrigan '75, Justice Maria Rivera of the First District Court of Appeal, Judge Marsha Berzon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and San Francisco Superior Court Judge Lillian Sing '75. A reception will follow.
