Join in the Bookstore’s Annual Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest and compete for a chance to win fabulous prices.  

RULES FOR ENTRY:

Pick up a free pumpkin at the bookstore on October 21st. We will have a limited number of pumpkins available for entrants at no cost.

Bring your entry to the bookstore starting at 9:00AM on Friday, October 30th. You will be assigned a number for anonymous judging.  Bear in mind, designer’s names will be revealed after election of the winners by the students.

Your entry must be registered by 11:30 am Friday, October 30th. The winners will be announced the same day as soon as the votes are tabulated.

You must pick up your entry by 4:00 pm on Friday, October 30.

All entries not picked up by 4:00 pm on Friday will be discarded.
 
JUDGING will be done via election by student vote on ballots provided by the bookstore. Election begins at 12 pm and ends at 3 pm. Results will be announced soon after the conclusion of judging.
 
Prizes:
·         Grand Prize: A gift certificate for Apple in the exact amount of a 16GB iPhone (plus Tax).
·         Best 1L and 2L entries: iPod Nano AND a $35 Hastings Bookstore Gift Certificate, each.
·         Best 3L entry: Free Diploma Frame and Free Regalia Rental.
·         Best Staff Entry: Any One Clothing Item in the Store (Including Tommy Hilfiger)
