Race in the Classroom Panel - HRPLJ
Start: 10/27/2009 from 3:30 PM to
4:30 PM
Location: 200 McAllister, Alumni Reception Center
The panel will discuss how race, racism, and the law intersect in the law classroom. Moderated by Dean Wingate, panelists are Professors Aviram, Bisharat, Prince, and Bhagwat. More than just a panel on race and racism in the law classroom, it is a discussion among students and faculty on what more we can do. As an issue that affects the entire student body, we hope you'll join us! Food will be provided. Brought to you by the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal (HRPLJ). Endorsed by: La Raza, Pilipino American Law Society (PALS), Hastings Outlaw, General Assistance Advocacy Project (GAAP), Vietnamese American Law Society (VALS), Korean American Law Students Association (KALSA), Clara Foltz Feminist Association (CFFA), Hastings Chinese Law & Culture Society (HCLCS), Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation (HPILF), Armenian Law Students Association (ALSA), National Lawyers Guild, Law Students for Reproductive Justice, Hastings Democrats, Constitutional Law Quarterly.
