Screening of the Documentary, Empress Hotel

The Empress Hotel is an award-winning documentary by Irving Saraf and Allie Light about the San Francisco homeless population. The Empress Hotel is a Tenderloin facility established by the San Francisco Department of Public Health to house the recently homeless, and its tenants come from widely diverse background, each with a story to tell.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with Roberta Goodman, manager of the hotel and a producer of the film. Free food will be served.
This event is sponsored by the Hastings Health Law Organization, the UCSF Graduate Students Association, and the Civil Justice Clinic.
