Envisioning Public Interest Panel

Location:  200 McAllister, Alumni Reception Center

The Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation presents Envisioning Public Interest, a panel discussion and reception featuring some of the top practitioners in various fields of public interest legal work.  

Professor Gail Silverstein of the Civil Justice Clinic will moderate a discussion featuring Ramon Arias of Bay Area Legal Aid, Susan Bowyer of the International Institute of the Bay Area, Vien Truong '06 of Green for All, Danielle Wildkress of Homebase, and Sam Yun of the Alameda County Public Defender's Office. These attorneys will discuss their current and past work, as well as strategies for law students who wish to practice in these fields. Hastings alumni, faculty, and Career Office staff will also be in attendance to share insights with interested students.

A reception with food, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will follow.
