Solutions to Climate Change? International Treaties, State Law, and Litigation

Join us for an afternoon symposium sponsored by the Environmental Law Society and Hastings International and Comparative Law Society.
The first panel begins at 12 p.m. and will focus on state and regional solutions to climate change. The panel speakers include the Assistant to the California Attorney General, who will discuss AB-32, an experienced partner who represents regulated greenhouse gas emitting facilities, and a nonprofit attorney working for the public interest.
The second panel begins at 1:45 p.m., and will focus on international solutions to climate change. The panel features international environmental attorneys and policy analysts who recently returned from Copenhagen, who will discuss the United Nations' climate change agreements, carbon markets, and international strategies to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
