A Celebration of Recent Victories for Refugee Women and an Update on Post-Earthquake Conditions for Women and Children in Haiti

Join the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies (CGRS) for a wine and hors d'œuvre reception.
Program will include an update and celebration of the advances in the protection of women refugees in the United States, and a sobering report on conditions in Haiti, with a focus on gender-based violence and the situation facing women and children in the aftermath of the devastating January 2010 earthquake.
